The 51st Turbomachinery and 38th International Pump Users Symposia was held in Houston, Texas last September at the George R. Brown Convention Center. The event had a very strong turnout, which we viewed as a privileged opportunity to meet industry peers.
A first-class gathering
The world’s premier gathering for rotating equipment engineers and technicians brought oil & gas, petrochemical, power, aerospace, and water industries together. More than 350 businesses from the petrochemical, power, pump, and turbomachinery industries had booths at the exhibition. Companies showcased full-size machinery, innovative technology, and developing market trends.
This extraordinary setting provided us with the ideal opportunity to present Freeze Cast and our products. We are really pleased with the interest shown by the professionals we met and we were left with the feeling that we are really moving forward in this competitive sector.
Increased international delegation
Through its peer-reviewed technical programme and top-notch exhibition, TPS is renowned for its strong engagement with the turbomachinery, pump, oil and gas, petrochemical, power, aerospace, chemical, and water industries.
In total, the conference attracted 3,815 attendees, 94 technical sessions and 274 exhibitors. Many attendees commented on the value of networking conversations on the show. From 2021 to 2022, TPS has increased its international delegation from just 19 countries in 2021 to 44 countries in 2022.
Instant Casting
Once again, our highlight product was the Instant Casting process. This is a service we have been offering to selected clients for a number of years. However, it was not until a few months ago that we officially launched the service.
What is so convincing about Instant Casting? Instant Casting is a patternless service that allows us to deliver critical and time-sensitive projects within 2 weeks. With FREEZE CAST’s distinctive quality, our customers receive their parts in a very short time frame knowing their equipment will continue to perform optimally.

FREEZE CAST’s Sales Manager Nuno Dias was there to meet our American customers and potential clients, who showed real interest not only in the actual products we manufacture, but in new potential opportunities and products that may suit our system of production.
Our ability to offer fast services such as fast-track and instant casting, as well as our expertise in the production of patternless castings (patternless process) also proved very interesting to existing and potential customers. The Aftermarket and Spare parts department look for solutions such as those, for which Freeze Cast has proven to be an excellent supplier.
TPS allowed our delegation to build new business relationships and to strengthen existing ones, which is always highly enriching and empowering for everyone involved.
